Diagnostic Criteria

Symptomatology

Current, recurrent, and past symptoms are the most significant aspect in formulating a diagnosis. Although lab results can be revealing, what matters the most is how the patient ‘feels’ and how the symptoms are impacting their life. Detailed, comprehensive intake interviews are essential for diagnostic precision. Addressing all areas of life, will ensure that mind, body and spirit have been considered in the final diagnosis.

Tongue

Visual tongue mapping gives insight into the interior qualities of the body. Specific areas of the tongue represent various areas inside the body and correlate to energetic organ systems. Color, texture, moisture, size and shape are all evaluated. This inspection contributes substantially to accurate diagnosis and is a great way to monitor progress.

Pulse

Pulse taking involves much more than counting pulse rate. Qualities of the radial artery and pulsing blood are felt in 3 separate positions and 3 distinct depths. These variables help identify the location of internal imbalances and which energetic organ systems may be affected. Speed, depth, width, strength, and consistency are all taken into consideration of overall pulse.

Billing FAQs

  • I accept cash, card, and check. I will also accept worker’s comp injury and auto insurance.

  • Yes! I am in network with HealthPartners insurance.

    For those who have insurance other than HP, please see next question.

  • Absolutely. For those who have out-of-network benefits, you can request a Superbill be provided after your session. Regular self-pay rates will apply following treatment. You will then supply your insurance company with the Superbill for reimbursement.

  • Yes, I plan to be in network with other carriers in the future. If this is a roadblock to receiving treatment, please reach out so that we can begin the process of contracting with your insurance company!

    I am also working to become a VA Community Care Provider to better serve our veterans.
